Hampshire Care Association request Members help!

There has been a steady flow of care providers finding themselves involved in safeguarding procedures. Almost always when there is opportunity to discuss these proceedings with providers it seems protocols are not consistent and various stakeholders (social services etc) do not have a full realisation of other procedures, for example employment law, that as an employer you are obliged to follow. It also seems there can be an inconsistency of advice and of the safeguarding team members changing. This does not allow for the flow of understanding of issues and can prove more challenging in the resolution of an issue.

I request you complete the questionnaire to allow a more complete understanding of experiences to allow representation to the Safeguarding Leads at Hampshire, Southampton and Portsmouth. Only by raising the issues can we hope to achieve a greater consistency and awareness of poor practice within the Safeguarding process.
